How do I replace the battery? Is it possible to buy and replace the battery if the current one stops working? I see that the battery can't be removed without opening the machine.

yes you would need to open it up and replace the battery, but the battery seems to be attached to with some cables and glue on to the mainboard parts. It's probably recommended to get it done by certified HP service provider

The battery cannot be replaced without completely removing the entire back. This should be done by a professional or it will void the warranty.

It has a great battery life but I have no idea how to change it I guess you need to take it to geek squad at best buy
