This model is slightly lighter than the previous. The older model was 3.26lbs, this model is 3.13lbs. Otherwise, besides the windows 10, they are identical. Really nice, premium laptop. Would recommend.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.RAM in 4003dx is LPDDR3 (low power 115mV) and RAM in 4101dx is DDR3L (135mV). Both are lower energy usage when compared to the regular DDR3 RAM 9150mV. Another major difference as reported to me by HP is that the 4003dx model RAM is soldered in to the board and is not user interchangeable. I have no idea what it is on the 4101dx. Other differences (that I have not verified) are the speakers (B&O versus ?supplier) and touchpad firmware.
