Windows 10 has the following touchpad feature: "To help prevent the cursor from accidentally moving while you type, change the delay before clicks work." The Clickpad driver can also "Disable internal pointing device when external USB pointing device is attached." You can also disable the touchpad entirely.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.took mine back. got a acer 14" i7 512 ssd with reasonable sized touchpad. the large touchpad is overkill and does affect typing. also, the sharp front edge of the case cuts into the palm it actually hurts after a time.
