I've noticed that RSSI is about 6dB better with external wifi adapters. I've only noticed a difference with marginal wifi signals.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Wi-Fi on my unit is fine, both the 5G and 2.4G modes have good signal strength, the only thing I have noticed is the 5G tends to take some time to connect, after the connection is made the signal is fine. Sounds like you may have a defective Wi-Fi in your new PC, not sure if it's the antenna in the PC or the Wi-Fi card in the PC. My PC was fine out of the box. Try a Wi-Fi hot spot or connecting to a friends Wi-Fi to confirm the issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not having any issues with wifi connectivity. I have same box configuration as you have listed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have no wifi issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did contact my cable company, they had to reset my modem and router, and all has been good since. Not sure if Windows 10 introduced some "chatter" that created the issue, but it has been solved in my case
