You can indeed upgrade the M.2 SSD in the computer, you just need to make sure it is the same size as the one that already exists in the laptop. There isn't a lot of space inside, but I am considering an upgrade to 512 GB or 1 TB myself. For the upgrade, you just need to remove the screws with a Hexalobular screwdriver bit (or TTAP) of the right size. Remove the backplate and at the back of the laptop (the side with the hinges) you'll be able to see the SSD in the M.2 slot (next to the WI-FI card I believe). I would recommend finding a way that works for you to transfer the contents of the original SSD to your new one unless you want a fresh install of Windows.
