No, this monitor is not detachable, however the units screen does rotate around to become a tablet. However if you still want a detachable keyboard HP does make a Tablet model called the Spectre 360 X2 which is embedded with LTE through Verizon and runs windows 10. I own both of these and they perform very well. Hope this helped
