“Overheating My HP Spectre is only 3 weeks old and I have to send it back to HP because it is overheating. They think it could be a faulty fan. Has anyone else had this problem with this computer?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't had that problem. Sorry that might not seem to help but I want to let you know that I've had 4 of these and they rarely get warm. The fan seldom comes on. So I'm sorry you had this problem, but I want to encourage you. You'll likely get an issue-free laptop in return. If the issue remains, HP will replace the laptop as far as I know. If you don't have an extended warranty through HP or Best Buy, I highly suggest you get one.
