No it does not run hot. This Spectre x360 Laptop has Enhanced Thermals: Enlarged air inlet & outlet vents, added opening on rear vent and keyboard inlet holes, increased fan size and added more graphite/insulation to disperse heat.

Please try again later.This laptop runs so hot that it stuck to my hard plastic laptop riser and now my 6 week old laptop has plastic residue over the air vents on the bottom. I had only used it for a 1 hour zoom call that caused it to get that hot. I do not recommend it.

There are hundreds of posts on Best Buy and the overwhelming majority do not mention overheating. I tried this model for a week and it was fine. Switched to another model because it had a longer battery life but that model is also fine.
