- Answer One of the two USB-C ports is a thunderbolt port. You can charge the laptop with it. Just be mindful of what sort of charger box and cable you use. If you use something delivering power at 60W, it will charge slower than the charger that comes with the laptop.

- Answer Unfortunately, it really won't work with that docking station. The easiest thing would be to get a docking station that can connect with one of the computer's USB-C ports.

QuestionI just bought this laptop 3 months ago and right now looking for external monitors to use with my laptop. What are the best screen resolution and refresh rate I can get out of my HP Spectre 15-eb1043dx if I use 1, or 2, or even 3 external monitors?

- Answer The maximum resolution that the video card will support is 4096 x 2160 @60Hz. You can divide that up between the monitors however you choose.

- Answer No, it's not an outdated model-in fact, it was released in September 2021. Stock is very thin on this and many other models from different manufacturers because of worldwide shipping issues, but I know that HP is trying to get Best Buy stocked with models as quickly as possible. However, when they're stuck in ships that can't get into port, there's only so much that can be done. We don't have any information on new models that will be coming out for the holidays.

- Answer Hi Jess! Thanks for your question. Alexa should be pre-installed on your notebook so that when you set up the PC is asks for your Amazon login information to set up Alexa. If it does not, you can type Alexa in the search bar to see if Alexa is installed. If it is not, you can download the Alexa app free from the Windows store.

- Answer Not experiencing this issue but could it be the hard drive starting up and once it's booted up then it calms done or isnt making as much noise as it's not whirring (unless you have a solid state drive)

QuestionWould I be able to remotely connect to my desktop computer at home to access QuickBooks desktop version? How is the speed going to work as far as creating invoices etc? Answering emails? I work from the car often all over the state of VT.

- Answer If you have other HP products or an app for QuickBooks you should be able to connect to it from anywhere. The speed will be more than sufficient to handle any of that type of transactional processing for small company or business.

- Answer Thank you for the question. No, the 15-eb1043dx (1M8FQUA) has a different display. The 1043's display is 340 nits, 72% NTSC and the 1097's display is 400 nits, 100% sRGB. All other features are the same for both laptops.
