QuestionI'm looking for a backup laptop to my iMac for occasional travel to do Photoshop and I hate the direction of the new MacBook Pros. The only negative thing, Ive heard so far is that it can be very noisy. Has anyone actually heard this laptop, yet?

QuestionThe past 2 years, this and the 13" versions have an unsolved battery drain when shut 100% OFF/DOWN (not in sleep mode). I have given up after 3 of them now so wonder if anyone has checked this for THIS 2017 new model on this 15 inch?

- Answer Thanks Klink but we have returned TWO of the 7th Gen Kaby Lake with this already and that's wy I asked. But both were the 13".

QuestionWhat is the difference in the Model X6W04AV_1 and this model 15-BL012DX? Does Best Buy sell model X6W04AV_1? Is this models memory upgradable to a 1tb?

- Answer No laptop's memory is expandable to a terabyte. If you really need that kind of horsepower, you can spec a custom server machine but you'd be looking at something rack-mountable and it'd cost north of $30k. It's certainly not commodity hardware though so you'd need to engage a sales rep at HP or Dell and describe your needs. It'd cost over $10,000 just in memory.
