Yes, you can use the webcam for Windows Hello login. I did not choose to use that feature and use the fingerprint reader instead. The Intel processor IS one from this year but is the 10th generation 10nm Comet Lake not 10th generation 10nm Ice Lake. I don't think there are any Ice Lake mobile chips.
