• It depends when the computer was made. I bought two the same day. Both have windows10 home on them. One had the very latest version and the other had to be updated to the latest. I returned both due to problems and was given two new ones again. This time they both had the very latest of windows 10 home on them. Unfortunately, I had to return one of the second replacements as all the hp software was missing, and hp suggested that I just return it as it should have the software installed. That one did have the latest version of Windows 10 home installed also. It appears for $100 that you can go through hp and upgrade to windows 10 pro. I hope this was what you were looking for, if not, sorry for misunderstanding.
