I have a similar model. HP support and other forums have many posts of the internal array mic not working with Zoom (and other online and offline applications). User after user reports trying the standard solutions of updating drives, running the trouble shooter, checking privacy settings, etc. etc., with no actual solution in sight for many frustrated owners. In addition to this, the x360 models seem to have video issues (same thing, connecting to basic apps such as Zoom). For such an expensive computer, it's pretty frustrating to have constant issues with audio and video and not much in the way of support on the forums (most people just copy and paste standard troubleshooting responses without bothering to read the OP or consider the fact that if hundreds of people have the issue, it's probably not something specific to the user at hand). If you get a Spectre or probably any HP, I guess make sure to get the extended support, but from what I've read on forums, their solution is to send the unit back lol. Maybe a bunch of us do just have defective ones. Who knows.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has great quad speakers tuned by the experts at Bang and Olufsen and it has an integrated dual array digital microphone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The speakers are good to my ear, and the description tells the laptop has two microphones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found the webcam grainy and facial features were reddish/orange toned. In comparison to my other laptops, the HP Spectre ranked the lowest for video and audio. I ended up ordering a microphone and webcam - which at the cost of this laptop I was expecting more. There isn't a port for an Ethernet cable and only one USB port. Again, I was purchasing additional supplies. The best function of this laptop is the clarity of the screen and the battery length.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Built in Microphone doesnt work - you have to try an external one no matter what I did I could get it to work even though it was showing external sound levels, I cant get teams , skype or zoom to hear anything unless I use an external microphone on headphones with these platforms
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
