Yes you can type letters or save in word or any documents to your device however you're going to want to either download Microsoft 365 and have an account for that or you're going to want to save it to your OneDrive on your computer but in order to use word you're going to have to download Microsoft 365 and pay for the subscription. They do give you a free month trial. Now you also can use the notepad that comes with your computer and use that to type in and save documents however when it comes to giving it to employers or typing a letter that you want to print so on and so forth Microsoft words your best bet because you can alter pretty much anything on there build headers and so on and so forth
