• Perfect for hauling back and forth to classes and dorm. It's simple and will do documents and web browsing. If she isn't going for a computer specialized program should do the job.

• Your granddaughter will love it. It runs W10, and if you follow their recommendations, there will be no security concerns. I didn't, because it wouldn't run one of my applications unless I overrode the built-in security. I consider myself a "knowledgable" PC user.
