Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Select 64 bits! Have a 32 GB flash drive, or external hard drive plug to the usb port. Windows will tell you that it does not have enough memory, it will give you the option to point it to the USB, then click "refresh".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The specs say HP Stream is running 64-bit Windows/8.1 prior to upgrade. Right-click on "This PC" (in Windows file explorer), check properties or about to see CPU type or OS architecture. If 64-bit is installed, upgrade to 64-bit. For a computer with 32-bit installed, you'd probably want to stick with 32-bit. I'd expect 64-bit would not install over 32-bit unless it is compatible hardware, Microsoft is pretty good about those checks. Note that other computers with Intel i3, i5, i7 and "Core 2 Duo" processors are 64-bit. Intel Atom processors other than this N2840 are 32-bit. Intel "Core Duo" is 32-bit. AMD A4 through AMD A10 are 64-bit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue and just ended up taking it to my nearest Microsoft store, to have them do. They told me it's usually a pain for customers to do it. I had spent two days trying to do the upgrade before I got upset. But I believe it's the 64 they installed for me.
