Yes, this is indeed a touchscreen laptop, sorry to disappoint you but the official color of the one you're seeking is MAGENTA according to HP (not quite pink) and it appears that BB only has the blue ones in their stores because the model they sell is a "Best Buy Exclusive" that you can't get anywhere else, that's what I was told by the sales manager.

I'm not sure if this answer will change any time soon (aka I don't know if they'll be coming out with more colors). However, the blue ombre design is very eye-catching & unique! I get compliments all the time on it!

Recommend doing your research on this one closely to see if it meets your requirements: I'm having drive space limitations that I find problematic even though I'm a degreed programmer (WinSxS folder grows to eat up most of the available drive space).
