• As far as getting it to power on yes regular outlet but if your wondering if there is a cable to connect your computer to it. No, the only way to communicate wit the printer is wifi

• Hello, Megan. Thanks for your question. The HP Tango printer just plugs into a regular power outlet for power. As far as connecting to a computer or mobile device, i.e. smartphone or tablet, the printer is wireless. It does not have a USB connection.
