I have a Surface Pro and the way I did this is to use a docking station from Targus. It works great. Here is a link to Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Targus-DSU300US-Video-Docking-Station/dp/B07JBPNCQK/ref=asc_df_B07JBPNCQK/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=524568852471&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4673770514357075289&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026802&hvtargid=pla-1326289004869&psc=1. Best Buy sells it as well but it is more expensive so I would get them to price match if you buy it at Best Buy. This docking station plugs into a USB A port on your laptop and gives you 3 video ports, some USB ports and an Ethernet port. The three video ports are HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort. You would need one HDMI cable: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-4-4k-ultra-hd-hdmi-cable-black/5938403.p?skuId=5938403 and then another cable that is either DVI to HDMI or DisplayPort to HDMI. I would recommend the DisplayPort to HDMI: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/best-buy-essentials-6-displayport-to-hdmi-cable-black/6434752.p?skuId=6434752. I am able to use two external monitors plus the monitor on my SurfacePro. I have attached a picture where you can see the two monitors mounted using a monitor mount and the Targus Docking station behind the SurfacePro. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this dock and it worked perfectly. I now have 2 monitors attached to my computer. When guests arrive they plug their laptop into this dock and they’ll have 2 monitors to use plus their laptop screen making an easy work-from-home office. The monitor comes with an HDMI cord so no need to purchase that. JCD381 99.99 USB TYPEC DUAL HDMI MINI DOCK
