I cant anwer as to Best Buys availability but If you are saying you want to upgrade RAM the max is (probably) 32gb total. You just got a 16 gig you say right? If so you would want to buy another 16 gig. Not one 32gb (even if it worked). You want to use dual channel so 16 in one slot and 16 in the other for your maximum RAM. Or, for other readers maybe, another 8 gig stick to make 16 (from stock 8 gig model) Don't just get one 16 gig stick and have only one slot filled. I think that is what you meant. All that said though just to be SURE what your machine can handle.Do this: 1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator. This will open the command prompt. 2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter. There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The HP - Victus 15.6" Gaming Laptop Model 15-fb1013dx supports a max RAM of 16 GB DDR5-4800 MHz RAM as 2 x 8 GB cards. While Best Buy does sell 32 GB RAM cards, they will not work with this laptop. If you would like a suggestion for another HP laptop that can support 32 GB of RAM, or would like to view the different options of RAM cards available, we suggest visiting your local Best Buy and speaking with either the Computer Department Representatives or the Geek Squad IT Experts, to provide a solution to your needs.
