Hi, and thank you for the question, Richy! Yes, the laptop will take 5600 MHz RAM
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After much research, I bought 2x16GB DDR5 @ 4800, opened the back of the laptop, saw that my factory installed single 8GB was 5600... so RETURNED my 2x4800 & exchanged for 2x5600's. Once installed, I realized that the computer was only able to run the 5600's at 4800 ANYWAY (they're backwards compatible), so just sayin' - it only seems CAPABLE of 4800 in the long run. Save a few bucks and just get 4800.

You can upgrade your existing 8GB of DDR5 RAM (@ 4800MHz) to a higher capacity and speed, such as 16GB or 32GB of DDR5 RAM (@ 5600MHz). However, you may need to check the compatibility and availability of the RAM module. I hope this helps.
