• I wouldnt. The motherboard in this laptop supports dual channel configuration. While you effectively CAN install another 16 gb stick in the open slot, you wont get the benefit of dual channel performance. You are better off, slapping another 8 gb stick in there or doing what i did and yanking the preinstalled 8 gb stick and installing 2 16 gb sticks. Just make sure you use 2 of the same spec'd sticks.
