“anyone know the fastest ram speed that would work in this laptop? im already planning to buy an additional 8gb 3200mhz stick but im wondering if i could just buy a 16gg kit with like say 4000mhz or faster kit instead”

• Only if you like wasting money. As the previous poster mentioned, you would only see 3200 of that 4000.

• You could but it would default to the 3200mhz speed
