Thank you for the question. Yes, the HP Warranty on new products is offered regardless of purchase point. Yes, you will need to register your product with HP as part of the set up process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased this laptop and in-store they asked if I wanted to buy a warranty (which I declined). However, this comes with a standard HP warranty that does not require (to my knowledge) any registration on the HP site. I believe your laptops information is automatically uploaded to them. I could be wrong because I was updating a lot of programs and HP Omen was one of those things and I might have uploaded to them myself. Either way, I got a popup telling me when my warranty expires.
