“I have this HP Laptop and I was taking it apart and the lower left corner went up in smoke. What is in the lower left corner of these laptops. I just bought a few days ago and I am sure warranty is not covered? Would it still be warrantied?”

I believe removing the back of a Laptop voids all active warranties :/
