“I got a previous answer stating the battery life of this model was 8 hours and some change with normal use (assuming web browsing and the such). My device only seems to get 2-3 hours of battery. What might this be from and how would I fix it?”

Hello, the battery life is dependent on what the device is being used for regarding software, how high the screen brightness is, and how much multitasking is being done. It will decrease as peripherals are added drawing more power. If you believe it is not working properly please contact HP Support or return the device if you are within the 14 day return policy window. Thank you for being an HP customer!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In my experience 2 to 3 hours of battery life is about it. A number of reviewers on the web stated that the battery life on this laptop is not the best. Just have to keep in mind that performance requires power.
