• Technically, if you buy a gaming laptop fan pad you should be okay since the laptop can easily overheat.

• Yes, you can, but if you do make sure your Nvidia control panel has “power management mode” to “normal” instead of “prefer maximum performance” since this causes unnecessary crashes when the device is idling.
