The battery is replaceable, but it does require some fairly major computer surgery, so I wouldn't classify it as "easy"-in fact it shoujldn't be attempted by someone who's not a trained technician. The RAM can be upgraded up to a maximum of 64 gigabytes. As far as recommendations, you'll need DDR4-3200 laptop RAM.
