“Can someone please tell me how to turn off the Fn lock for this device? I really hate having to press FN to do things like turn up and down the volume or brightness. Please help, thanks. Is it like this for other people?”

Hello, Ctrl+Shift+Numb, Fn+Num, Fn+F11, Fn+left Shift, FN+Esc. If you want to completely disable it you need to do that through the BIOS. If do a quick search engine on unlocking and disabling the FN key you will find more assistance. Thank you for being an HP customer!
