Yes. The connector must be available on your computer. So if you use a PS/2 older-type connector, the mouse must have that connector. If you have a USB connection, then that will work. The mouse itself will most likely adapt to your Windows system regardless of the brand, but must have the correct connection. Any optional software needed will be available at the website of the manufacturer of your mouse. Most all USB mice are Plug-n-Play if you have Windows 2000 or higher.
