• The phone I received was definitely open box with seals over the original seals. It didn't seem like it was used though. Box did arrive in rough shape.

• BestBuy has discounted the price of this phone because it has been on the market for almost two years now. The HTC One M8 was released last year and there are rumors that HTC will unveil the new M9 version next month.
