At&t tethering question I have unlimited data and want to know if I can tether with out paying additional fee. This is not the same as 3GB or 5GB those folks can already automatically tether since its part of the plan. Thanks!

The problem is as follows: With any AT&T locked device, they will be able to monitor what you do on the device. I suggest calling AT&T and telling them to "UNLOCK" your device (It is now legal and approved by the US Gov) and then you should be able to tether from it.

Call your provider, AT&T, and ask them because no one knows what your plan entails except the smart people at BestBuy! Seriously, you can have the folks at BestBuy look up your AT&T account and they are great at explaining what you have and can help you to upgrade, too!

Sometimes when you try to use the tether feature on your phone it will prompt you if its a feature you need to add from your service provider
