It has better headphones, better screen, and it more comfortable. I have tried it and the boost in resolution does make a difference, many people say it is comfortable, I tried it and i do not find it very comfortable because it is heavy. If it is your first time in vr i would try a rift s and upgrade to the valve index. I do not recomend a vive pro unless you want to upgrade with the wireless adapter which is an extra $350.
