Hello Talgat, with the IP68 rating, it does mean that your watch is water-resistant in up to 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Please note this means this refers to a constant and total submersion for 30 minutes. With Swim you are constantly moving your arms in and and of the water, so you would have no issues of wearing within an hour of swimming. As well, the watch does have a workout monitoring functionality specific to swimming. (DM)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's not correct. It's good to 50 meters and you can use it for swimming as long as you like. Right now, it does not count laps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The "30 minutes" just refers to the test procedure that is universally used to rate water intrusion. If a watch can withstand the simulated pressure of being in 50 meters (165 feet) of water for 30 minutes without water leaking into the unit, then it is rated "5ATM" or 5 atmospheres... which means 50 meters. In this case, the Huawei Fit is rated at 50 meters, per their website. (I think the 4.92 feet of water in the description is a typo.) Since swimming is generally done on/near the surface... meaning in 1 meter of water... I am sure a watch that can withstand 50 meters of pressure for 30 mins can handle 1 meter of pressure for 60 mins. You will be fine.
