“The 64 GB version of the Honor 8 is listed here as having Android 6 Marshmallow whereas the 32 GB version apparently has Android 7 Nougat. Can the 64 GB version be upgraded to Nougat, or is this an older version of the Honor 8??”

My honor 8 64gb came with Marshmallow, but got an update almost immediately to Nougat, after I had it up for a few minutes on Wi-Fi.

The 64gb Honor 8 will update to Android 7 Nougat.

Once u buy phone and active it it upgrades to latest Android operating system. I have honor 8 64gb and its awesome. Plus it has sd card slot which I believe can handle an additional 128gb (that's alot of GBs)

The 64GB version is upgraded to nougat and is running on emui 5.0. it is as far as I know running the exact same software as the 32GB version and is the exact same model just different storage size.
