“Do you need to have your location on for your this watch? Because I had the basic, basic version of the Fitbit and I was a little annoyed that I had to have my location on and Bluetooth which killed my battery.”

No, it's not required. But, I have location turned on with lots of notifications and the battery lasts about 2 days or worse case 1.5 days
