• yes you can. it has the same 2 - 3.0 Thunderbolt ports that the MacBook Pro has. I use it on my MacBook Pro

• Yes, absolutely :) The new MacBook Air has 2 USB-C ports on the side that you can attach the HyperDrive DUO 7-in-2 to.

• You must have a 2-USB-C connection ports side by side to use this hub! The new MacBook Pros have eliminated all inputs but the USB-Cs on them, so this works perfectly with them. Look at a picture of the side of a MacBook Pro 2017 or newer and compare it to your Air. You will be able to tell right away if it will work or not.
