“I have an iPad Air that i purchased in 2014. I purchased a lavalier microphone so that i can be heard clearly during zoom meetings. I have to have my ipad directly plugged into the power outlet and am needing an extra port to plug into. Will this work?”

• No it wont, but there is device that has 3 ports that will—it plugs into a lightning port, and provides an audio jack, a lightning port for charging only and another lightning jack for data, etc. Search for a Lightning connected hub that includes an additional port for charging.
