These are Bluetooth, and also work with a wire. (As in I use them to watch movies on my iPad wirelessly as well as connect them with a 3.5mm jack to my Xbox controller to chat with friends.) These are as durable as the cloud line and after a year I have had no issues with them with daily use.

With the audio cable plugged in, Bluetooth is off and can’t be used, and when the audio cable is unplugged you just have to press the power button to put it in wireless mode.
