They are not, but they do need to be charged via USB type C once the battery dies (the battery is used to power the magnetic planar drivers)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would use the usb so you can get the full 7.1 surround sound. Wireless you always have to charge, so wired would be a better option. I’m not sure if they’re wireless because I use usb for full affect of sound. Hope this was helpful
