Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I personally have an Xbox One X system. The headphones work by plugging them into the controller, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to get the surround sound to work on my Xbox. I’ve tried every USB port and none seem to work. I think only regular audio is supported on Xbox One X. I’ve seen YouTube videos where surround sound has worked on Playstations, so it might just be an Xbox problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've tried it on PC and PS4 only and surround works on both.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The funny thing about marketing surround sound. You have to be careful if your wanting true surround you need to find a headset with 5 to 7 separate speakers in watch cup for true surround the hyper x cloud revolver s only has 2 speakers the simulate surround sound but with just the 3.5mm jack these sound amazing I use Dolby Atmos app on Xbox one it's makes any headset "great surround sound"... Especially on a headset with these specs you can hear everything from any direction with good clarity so yes I guess but they are not true surround sound but probably the closest your gonna get with out paying 300 dollars

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only of your device supports USB audio. Definitely not for xbox.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the dongle toggles simulated 7.1 as long as you have it plugged into a USB port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not on xbox
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any device that outputs a 7.1 surround sound signal will "work". However, virtual 7.1 surround sound is a bad GIMMICK. It will degrade the sound and produce this over-processed "tinny" sound that doesn't really help with directional sound (stereo will produce a 3D soundscape when used with headphones... virtual surround sound is completely unneeded). Also, when you turn the Dolby on, the soundcard in the device turns off all EQ presets you have on... the only thing that makes these sound good is the bass EQ and that will be auto-turned off. Virtual 7.1 is bad.
