• A:Answer This Quadcast S is much more expensive on other sites (i.e Amazon) I'd hold out until BB gets it back in stock. I too was hoping to get one before Christmas. I ended up purchasing the red Quadcast....just in case. I'm glad I didn't open the box. I checked Bestbuy.com almost daily to continually check to see if they'd get this one (Quadcast S) back in stock. Luckily for me I was able to get one just a few days after Christmas. I promptly returned the red one for this one. WELL WORTH the wait and the extra $20 for this one. It's beautiful! But, you must be vigilant and watch the website. They sell out very fast!!! Good luck!

Q: QuestionCan you make the 'S' version show solid red through software, similar to the look of the original (non-S version)? Or does the RGB always appear multicolor?

Q: QuestionI am teaching violin on zoom. Sometimes my sound fades out. Also, the sound sometimes sounds like I am underwater. Someone suggested that an external mic might help with both sound quality and volume. Would this mic help out?

• A:Answer Hey Noah! The QuadCast S microphone comes with a stand. Did you mean a Boom Arm? If so, it comes with a mount adapter that supports a 3/8-inch and 5/8-inch thread.

• A:Answer From what I’ve found, no. Not without muting the entire mic. You can change it so it stays a solid color or two though. Have to download the HyperX software that does that though.
