• Yes I have the brand new MacBook Pro with touch bar and it works The A number can be seen on the computer, I think on the bottom.

• A1707 refers to 15" MacBook Pro models released in mid-2017. Subsequent 15" MacBook Pro models released in 2018 and 2019 are designated A1989 or A1990.
