Q: does this case fit 2018 macbook pro 15 model a1990

A: Yes it does, I have the 2019 15” and mines also model A1990 So you’ll be fine for sure

Q: how does top snap on? which side goes toward hinge 2 clips or 3 clips? can't get it to fit tight

A: 2 clips go toward the hinge. I had trouble too and it seemed it didn't fit correctly because there was a gap, but days later, it clicked into place.now there is no gap and it doesn't move at all

Q: does this fit the newest 15" MacBook Pro with the touch bar, etc? It says "fits up to A1707" or something like that, but I don't know what that means and A1707 isn't useful information to me. thanks

A: Yes I have the brand new MacBook Pro with touch bar and it works The A number can be seen on the computer, I think on the bottom.

Better than no cover...
This cover is fine... but it IS plastic, so not my favorite material for anything! I needed a lap-top computer cover ASAP, soooo.... It's fine. Does what it's supposed to do... cover my newest computer. Eventually I'll get a more organic material as I had on my older, larger laptop. All being said... it's nice an light weight.

Great looking and bonus keyboard cover
I was getting scuffs on my new MacBook Pro, and this case is very nice looking as well as protecting it from dings... I don't think it would protect it from drops, and I'm not willing to test that out! I do also like the keyboard cover that came with it. I did not like the feel of the keyboard on the MacBook, and this was a nice feature!

Works as advertised
Initially I thought the cover was loose because there were only 2 attachment points on the hinged side and three on the opposite side. but few days later I saw I had not applied it correctly. So it works well. Also comes with extra “feet”
