One of the reasons for the slower speed - there are probably a number of them - is that this PC does not use DDR4 RAM, which permits overclocking and faster speeds. When I bought this computer, I was told (incorrectly) that I needed to buy two 8GB sticks of DDR4 RAM, which would allow this PC to run at 3200MHz. Sadly, this was not the case.
