A:Answer Yes, On this particular PC, the dvd drive is in a stand alone socket/space so you can swap out the optical drive as long as it is an internal blu-ray drive. The case does not offer multiple slots for internal optical drives. However, on mine, based on a deal Best Buy had, I got an external blu-ray drive to use with it so I could have two disc drives. External BR drives come in two styles, USB powered and stand alone power supply models, in general from what I have seen, the ones with stand alone power supplies have higher blu-ray burn speeds.
