• I have mine sitting on carpet and have had no issues. It has fairly tall legs on it so even in carpet the bottom of the system is off the ground allowing airflow underneath. I would say you should be safe unless you have some seriously deep shag carpet going on.

• Carpet is fine, there are feet with rubber on the bottom (not conductive)
