Ya I figured out that if I point it thru the empty fan vent on top it works. I can't get mine to work thru glass but not a big deal. At least I got them to stop flashing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For the 1st month that I own the system. I could not get it to work. I was sitting looking at my monitor with the unit off to the side of me. I could see in through the glass and see the lights flashing. So I pointed the remote at the side of the unit and it would do absolutely nothing. I tried this off and on for weeks. Then one day I don't know why, but I took the remote and held it down about halfway from the top, pointing to the front of the unit that has the red stripe on. Then I started to see if I could control the blinking or the strobe effect. So I started pushing buttons and next thing I know, off all the lights went and I was able to bring them back on. It still works this way, so evidently the sensor must be in the front of the unit. I hope this works for you also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was having the same problem. I discovered that if you aim the remote at glass on the side and point it at the lower middle of the pc it will work. The sensor seems to be inside the pc, not on the front panel.
