Your HDMI cable will work just fine. The GPU is what you will need to plug into and not the motherboard. That is on the back of the computer and each port is a different shape so HDMI fits in only one particular spot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are four rubber plugs on the GPU two are for a video technology I'm not familiar with and two are HDMI. Carefully remove one of the two rubber plugs on the right and your HDMI cable will plug right in.
