- Answer Hey Albert, That is a great question. Since this unit comes installed with an AMD FX6300, the motherboard included is compatibly paired with the FX6300. An Intel Core i5 will not be compatible with the motherboard included with this PC. You would have to obtain a motherboard that is compatible with an i5. The current socket set for Intel is LGA 1151. - Answer I would call ibuypower. If you want the exact same thing. (888-462-3899). Be honest. A more inexpensive way would be to hit your local hardware store . By a piece of pleixyglass have it cut to size and and drill some holes carefully. Clear. Still see inside and still protect it from getting dust inside.
